Stars and Secret Ingredients

Just had the digital camera out around the resort.

First of all, congrats to our latest “star employee” award winner, Curt Weston. Visitors to The Reef will not see Weston unless anything goes wrong with the engineering around the place, but trust me, he has done a marvellous job since we re-opened of fixing the various things that seemed to mysteriously go wrong after our post-Ivan renovations… I guess not so much a mystery as to be expected that we don’t catch absolutely everything the first time around after such a huge amount of salt spray flew around the place… but whatever went wrong, Weston (as he is nicknamed) has worked tirelessly to fix it.

Now, if you come and visit The Reef soon, make sure not to park in the parking space nearest the building… the special spot marked in yellow is not for me as resort chief cook and bottlewasher, it is for the current “star employee”.

Secondly, Phil “the thrill” Maguire (calm down, ladies!) is in the middle of revamping the “Dining at Castro’s section” of our website (soon come!), and we wants to make sure that he reveals our secret ingredient that goes into all our meals… the kitchen staff !

    the variety and taste of the food at Castro’s restaurant is amazing and I want to say thankyou to all the people responsible. They are much appreciated.
